-Students will learn how to count to one hundred in a variety of different ways. We will practice counting by tens, fives, and ones. Students will learn in a fun environment by helping Rex the dinosaur decorate and celebrate his birthday party. Class structure is as follows: -Welcome and Introductions -Class Expectations and Rules - Introduction to Slides and Story Premise - Practice Counting by Tens and Help Rex Decorate - Practice Counting by Tens and Use a Hundred Chart -Practice...
Students will improve their ability to count by tens, fives, and ones to one hundred.
No formal homework will be assigned. Students will be encouraged to continue to practice counting at home.
A handout will be provided for learners to use at home. This will be provided after class, and students can work on these fun, optional materials if they wish, No materials are needed for class time.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher will informally assess student progress throughout the lesson.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
