Are you a cosplayer or are interested in making a costume? It can be difficult to design your own costume to match a character, especially if you want your costume to be unique. I can help! I have worked as a professional seamstress, owning my own sewing business and digitizing embroidery, creating my own patterns and hosting classes locally and online. I've been making costumes since I was a young girl and make costumes for my children as well!
Homework Offered
Between classes the students will need to procure their own materials and sew the items independently. Learners can sew during class but most of the work will be done offline.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

- Free printable cosplay planner included upon enrollment (posted in classroom 1-2 days prior to class start time) - Depending on your costume choice, you will need fabric, a sewing machine and possibly will need to print out a paper pattern, or have paper on hand to draft your own. A measuring tape is handy as well, and it is best if the student has a wide space available for laying our fabric, measuring, etc. If applicable, bring any fabrics or materials you've already purchased for your costume.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
