Learners will strengthen their core in this fun and energetic workout. Class starts with a brief warm up and will include several core exercises including exercises for the abdominals, back muscles and hip muscles. Class will finish with a cool down stretch and wrap up. Each learner will be encouraged to perform each exercise with good form and to work on their core strength. Each exercise will be modified to challenge learners at their level. The teacher for this class is a physical therapist, certified Pilates instructor and has taught fitness and dance for many years.
20 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Please be sure learners have plenty of floor space and point their camera so that they are seen when exercising on the mat. Mats are preferable, but a soft carpet or towel will work also.
