Description

Class Experience

Students will learn a variety of different types of meditations while practicing together and the importance of creating a meditation practice as well as how to practice being mindful throughout their day.  They will learn positive affirmations to help them with the pressures of school as well as with social media.  
I have had my own personal experience with anxiety as well as guidance from therapists, doctors, and psychiatrists. 
This class is not a substitute for offering therapeutic support specifically for learners suffering from chronic anxiety or anxiety disorders.  Please seek professional medical attention.
Homework will be student's feedback
Throughout the ongoing class I will recommend different apps and books teens can use to further their knowledge and encourage their practice. 
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
