Class experience
In this one time class, students will be learning to draw a cool cat cartoon and use a fine tip marker to ink it. We will break down the cat into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Drawing techniques will cover sketching, mark making, and creative inking as needed for the specific project. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. Drawing techniques with pencil and marker to create a cool cat cartoon.
White paper. (Printer paper will work fine.) Pencil and eraser. Fine point black marker. Other colors are allowed if black is not available or preferred.
Some markers are permanent stainers. Please protect surfaces and clothes. Remind learners to not draw on their skin in case the marker is permanent. :)
