Welcome Outshoolers!

My name is Dalen, and I am excited about the opportunity to be part of your child’s learning journey! I hold an MPhil in Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Social Work.

I love to engage with kids through stories because I believe storytelling is a powerful tool to teach and inspire curiosity.
I enjoy learning and teaching about the different cultures that make up our world. I offer classes in history, social studies, geography, life skills, and arts & crafts. I’ll describe my teaching style as interactive, supportive, and engaging.

On a personal note, I grew up in Ghana, West Africa. If I’m not spending time telling Ananse stories to my kids, I enjoy baking healthy treats and experimenting with food from around the world.

Join me as we discover the beauty of our world through captivating stories, food, art & crafts, and much more. I look forward to helping your child on their learning journey. See you in the classroom!
