In this one-time class, students will learn about the history of Ghana’s vibrantly colored and beautiful Kente cloth.

Class experience

US Grade 1 - 3
At the end of the class, students will know about the rich history of the Kente cloth. The lesson will also reinforce students' concept of patterns and strengthen their fine motor and measuring skills.
I was raised in Ghana, the home of the Kente cloth! I always welcome the opportunity to teach others about the rich history and beauty of this country.
Homework Offered
Students unable to finish their art work in class may complete it at home.
