In this one-time class students will cook (and bake) delicious lasagne from scratch. It's the students choice to use a veggie filling or bolognese sauce filling.

Description

Class Experience

Ingredients: - big can of crushed tomatoes - small can of tomato paste - onion - fresh garlic - oregano - fresh or dried basil - salt - pepper - olive oil - 13 Lasagna Pasta Plates (please cook before class) - shredded cheese (italian mix, Mozzarella) - Parmesan - tub of Ricotta cheese (whole milk tastes best) For meat lasagna: 1 package of ground beef For veggie lasagna: Veggies that you like and/or - 2 bell peppers (red or yellow and green) - one zucchini - 2 medium carrots - spinach Utensils and equipment: - lasagna pan (usually made oir of glass) - pan to cook sauce in - stove - oven - cutting board - sharp knife - spatula or big cooking spoon
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please let me know if your child has any food allergies or sensitivities, I'll figure out a substitute.
Since kids are working on the stove and use the hot oven, parental super vision is recommended.
