Chimi...what?! Chimichurri! This Argentinian grilled meat sauce brings your meal to a whole new level! Simple yet packed with tons of flavor and perfect to use as a marinade or dipping sauce for a variety of grilled meats and even vegetables. If you like flavor and grilled steak or chicken then this wonderful sauce will be the star of the show in your next summer meal. Students will use a knife for chopping ingredients. We will discuss safety with knives. Students will learn to follow directions, measure ingredients and receive tips on planning a menu to go with their new sauce recipe.

Parental Guidance
Students will use kitchen knives to chop ingredients, parental supervision may be necessary for your learner. Please remember that Outschool's policy requires that parents will remain off camera while providing supervision.
Supply List
Students will need a good kitchen knife and cutting board. Measuring cups, measuring spoons. A small bowl (approx. 12-16oz.) and spoon for stirring. Ingredient list: 1 bunch cilantro, 1 small bunch parsley, 3 garlic cloves, oregano (dried), red pepper flakes, salt, olive oil, red wine vinegar, ground cumin. Recipe will be provide in the classroom before the class.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
