Kids can cook beginning at a young age. Cooking and creating in the kitchen helps young learners build language skills, practice basic math and science concepts, as well as increase self-confidence! Creating in the kitchen also increases life skills such as direction following, kitchen safety, and problem solving. Join me as we make some delicious 3-ingredient peanut butter cookies! We will increase our fine motor skills as we pour, crack, and mix our ingredients - chatting along the way. We will work through step by step instructions, as a group, mixing our ingredients to make our dough. Cookies will go in the oven during class and finish after our class is complete. A detailed ingredients list will be provided to learners prior to class. No prior knowledge is needed for this class but adult assistance and guidance is required. Please note this class MAY go over by a few minutes, based on the needs of the learners.
