Description

Class Experience

In this Cooking with Kids class, your child will have a great time learning how to make his or her own hot cocoa mix!!! The teacher and students will make a batch of hot cocoa mix from only three ingredients in this one-time class meeting.  The teacher will be making a batch during the class to provide a demonstration of proper measurements and use of baking tools needed (measuring cups, bowl, sifter or fine mesh strainer, spatula, and whisk.) Students will have fun learning how to make this fun winter-time and holiday treat!

Supply list will be sent upon enrollment.  
Ingredients are three items commonly found at most local grocery stores.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please note that we will only be making the mix and no stove or oven will be used.  All ingredients are dry ingredients.  
**The recipe calls for an ingredient that contains dairy, however, a dairy-free alternative will be listed as an option.
