Forget about the packaged, dried noodles you get from the supermarket, fresh homemade rice noodles is so much tastier, healthier and more satisfying. Making soft rice noodles using rice flour, salt, water, soup and Yen Ta Fo sauce from scratch is actually very easy to make and so much fun. In this class, I will walk you through step by step on how to make fresh delicious rice noodles at home. I will also teach you how to make pork or chicken soup, prepare toppings and make delicious Yen Ta Fo noodle sauce with your favorite vegetables in your kitchen. If you are a noodle fan like myself and want to travel to Thailand through cooking, it’s time to impress yourself and your loved ones with the delicious bowl of homemade Thai Yen Ta Fo noodle soup goodness.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to experiment and create Thai noodle soup from scratch which will help build their self-confidence and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits at home.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is recommended for younger students as we will be in the kitchen and there are hot appliances and other hazardous things in the kitchen. We want our students to be safe and having fun :).
Supply List
Rice flour + Tapioca flour (If you’d like to learn how to make rice noodles from scratch) or just rice noodles of your choice, Chinese red bean curd or miso paste, Sriracha hot sauce or ketchup, rice vinegar or lemon, sugar, garlics, Thai chilies, fish sauce, oyster sauce, broth (or pork/chicken bones if you’d like to learn how to make the soup from scratch), white pepper, seafood or topping and vegetables of your choice.
