Description

Class Experience

Students will be able to experiment and create Thai noodle soup from scratch which will help build their self-confidence and lay the foundation for healthy eating habits at home.
I absolutely love cooking and baking. I grow up learning how to cook since I was 9 in my family’s restaurant. I love great, healthy and unique food all around the world. I love to share my passion with young chefs how to have fun, enjoy, eat healthier, be open minded and be creative with the food they can make at home.
Homework link will be posted in the classroom 1-2 days before class.
Rice flour + Tapioca flour (If you’d like to learn how to make rice noodles from scratch) or just rice noodles of your choice, Chinese red bean curd or miso paste, Sriracha hot sauce or ketchup, rice vinegar or lemon, sugar, garlics, Thai chilies, fish sauce, oyster sauce, broth (or pork/chicken bones if you’d like to learn how to make the soup from scratch), white pepper, seafood or topping and vegetables of your choice.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental guidance is recommended for younger students as we will be in the kitchen and there are hot appliances and other hazardous things in the kitchen. We want our students to be safe and having fun :).
