Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello parents and students/student athletes!
My name is Calvin Kang and I am extremely excited to teach or answer any questions your child/children may have within my expertise. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a major in Exercise Physiology. Along with my studies, I played on the Men's basketball team as a walk-on and beyond the college level. I was also a NRC (Nike Run Club) Pacer training marathoners to keep account of their pace in their training regiment. I am able to give adequate exercise programs according to one's objective of training whether its for a marathon, 5k, or any sport specific training. My philosophy of teaching is to prepare younger students for their next chapter in life, so they are equipped and confident in the goals they want to accomplish. Who knows, with preparedness, you might even be one step ahead.
Aside from my work in Sales Marketing, I love to cook and have kitchen experience in the Korean Restaurant business. I also enjoy playing with my dogs and being active every day!
