45 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class I will lead the students step by step to make a very common meal in Germany: Lentil soup. The students can choose if they want to make a vegan/vegetarian dish or one with meat by adding Frankfurter sausages. Students are always encouraged to make food exactly for their own taste, so they will have to taste their soup and choose what herbs to add and such. The class not difficult to master. The kids need to be able to cut up all the veggies in small pieces. Since we will cook the soup on the stove, they will be handling the hot pot and hot soup. I advice parents to be near, so they can help if needed.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi!
I am Annika, the mother of two wonderful boys and a believer of the theory that learning comes naturally. Only when kids and adults are interested in something, learning occurs. If we humans are forced into something, fear and anxiety will stop us from learning and growing.
I've been unschooling and worldschooling my children for the past 7 years. In 2019 we took a 15 months long trip around the world as a family. We experienced many countries and cultures and came back with a widened view of the world and open hearts.
I grew up in Germany and have teaching degrees in Math, Art, Psychology and Sociology. I used to be a tennis coach to finance my studies while attending university.
Now I am a Coach for Mothers who would like to connect deeper with themselves in order to feel more connected to their children and give their children the opportunity to grow up freely without any baggage being handed down from their moms.
I also coach families that want to work as a team and want every family member to feel seen and respected.
I also have a small business and sew children's' clothing for kids that like to express themselves through their clothes. In Covid times, I scheduled zoom meetings with kids to have them pick their favorite fabrics and design their own clothing that I would sew for them.
I love to teach and spread awareness of living a mindful and fulfilled life. Our souls came here to have an awesome earthly experience and I think that this here is a great platform for children to pick classes that exactly match their interests and they excel from there.
My kids certainly enjoy Outschool classes a lot.
I am here to make learning and creating a great experience for your children and also for myself <3
