Supply List
Ingredient Supply List: 2 cups flour 1-1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 3 large eggs 2-1/2 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup cream soda 1 11-oz package butterscotch chips 3/4 cup heavy cream 2 tsp butter flavoring (not butter or cooking spray) 1 lb powdered sugar food coloring (red, blue, green, yellow) * only if you want to sort the cupcakes into houses To make the ganache, you will need a double boiler. Be sure you have access to one if you want to make the fun surprise inside. This is used to heat foods slowly; if you do not have one a saucepan is fine but the effect will not be as great. A cupcake tin or cupcake foils are needed to create the cupcake shape.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I worked for 5 years in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, FL, making Butterbeer drinks daily so I have knowledge of how the taste should be and have made these cupcakes for many events with friends and co-workers. I am also an avid Harry Potter fan.
