In this one-time class the students will make pasta from scratch. They will also make a ricotta filling and a tomato sauce, so that dinner can be served.

Description
Class Experience
Pasta batter: - All purpose flour - salt - water Filling: - ricotta - fresh parsley - parmesan - salt + pepper - splash of milk Sauce: - olive oil - big can of crushed or diced tomatoes - tomato paste - fresh garlic - onion - bell peppers (optional) - carrots (optional) - oregano - basil (fresh if possible) utensils: - pan - 2 bowls - rolling pin - cutting knife - cutting board - a circle cookie cutter or sharp round glass - fork and spoon
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Since the students are working in the kitchen and with hot the hot stove, parental guidance is advised. Please let me know if you have any food allergies, so we can figure something out.
