Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to make traditional fried rice using simple ingredients. We will be covering different cooking techniques as well as how to prep food for success in the kitchen. Students will be able to interact and ask questions via zoom. Chef Andy will demo the whole process from start to finish. No experience required. All are welcome to join class with no prior cooking or knive skills experience.
Ingredients: 1 cup Jasmine rice (cook in advance and chill), vegetable oil, soy sauce, 1 garlic clove, 1 carrot, 1 scallion, 1 egg. Equipment: saute pan, cutting board, knife, wooden spoon.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Knive handling and heat/stove handling. Allergies. Parents can assist or ask questions.
