40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This class is a cooking class, so learner and teaching will be in their kitchens. We will follow a recipe, so ingredients will need to be measured exactly. Each learner is responsible to have all the ingredients and utensils needed handy. As for utensils, we need a mixing bowl, a bowl to melt butter in in the microwave or a pot to melt it on the stove. Measuring cups and spoons are also needed. A pancake pan, crêpe iron or a simple frying pan are all good. Non-stick is preferred because it's really hard to not have the crêpe stick to the pan if it's not non-stick. I will cover stove safety measures in class, so that hopefully nobody gets burned. The toppings for the crêpes are totally optional and personal choice. From butter and sugar over fresh fruits, Nutella or simple cinnamon sugar everything is possible. Some kids might even like a savoury crêpe with soft cheese, honey and maybe some arugula.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi!
I am Annika, the mother of two wonderful boys and a believer of the theory that learning comes naturally. Only when kids and adults are interested in something, learning occurs. If we humans are forced into something, fear and anxiety will stop us from learning and growing.
I've been unschooling and worldschooling my children for the past 7 years. In 2019 we took a 15 months long trip around the world as a family. We experienced many countries and cultures and came back with a widened view of the world and open hearts.
I grew up in Germany and have teaching degrees in Math, Art, Psychology and Sociology. I used to be a tennis coach to finance my studies while attending university.
Now I am a Coach for Mothers who would like to connect deeper with themselves in order to feel more connected to their children and give their children the opportunity to grow up freely without any baggage being handed down from their moms.
I also coach families that want to work as a team and want every family member to feel seen and respected.
I also have a small business and sew children's' clothing for kids that like to express themselves through their clothes. In Covid times, I scheduled zoom meetings with kids to have them pick their favorite fabrics and design their own clothing that I would sew for them.
I love to teach and spread awareness of living a mindful and fulfilled life. Our souls came here to have an awesome earthly experience and I think that this here is a great platform for children to pick classes that exactly match their interests and they excel from there.
My kids certainly enjoy Outschool classes a lot.
I am here to make learning and creating a great experience for your children and also for myself <3
