Our young students will explore the world of food at their own level. We won't be playing pretend with our kitchens in this course! Students will learn the basics of food and kitchen safety. Students will learn about how to keep themselves, and their food. One cooking lab a week is encouraged. Students will learn the following Week 1: Pasta Noodles and Pasta Sauce (Alfredo) Week 2: Lasagna Week 3: Pasta Alternative week Students will be given ingredients and recipes beforehand. Students will need to have ingredients premeasured, and ready to go for the beginning of class. We will cook together as a class. We will have a time limit of one hour. Some of these recipes like lasagna may take longer than one hour. The instructor will walk the class through the final stages of how to complete meals and finishing steps that cannot be completed in the hour.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to create a few go-to pasta dishes that they will be able to whip up for family or friends or whenever the feeling strikes.

- Stove/Oven
-Food processor, blender, stand mixer

Supply List
I will provide curriculum, handouts, and links to videos. Food will need to be provided by the learner, a supply list will be provided upon enrollment as a file/document attached to the classroom page.
