In this ongoing class, students will create popular dishes that have their roots in the culture of Hawaii. Please feel free to jump into this series any week, I will be happy to send you the ingredients and supplies for that particular class. In this Flavors and Sights of Hawaii Class, students will create popular dishes from the island of Oahu. Each Saturday, students will be welcomed with different photos and information of one beautiful spot on Oahu. Background information regarding the class recipe will be shared, and questions throughout the class regarding Hawaii are welcome! From Hawaii Kalua Pork to Chinese Crispy Wontons, Students will blend flavors that make Hawaii what it is, a beautiful melting pot of cultures and people. I look forward to cooking with you from my little kitchen on the island of Oahu.

Parental Guidance
Parents are advised: depending on which week, a Hot stove, oven, sharp knife, and frying may be required in this class.
Frying of foods should be done by an adult unless child had experience.

A complete list of detailed ingredients and supplies will be given at enrollment

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I have over 20 years of experience teaching children via homeschooling 4 children, homeschool Co-ops at my home, and through teaching in the private and public schools on our island. It is my goal to make my classes engaging, interactive, educational and meaningful.
