Class Experience

Students will be encouraged to be creative and to work through different challenges as they prepare pretend meals. Students will be encouraged to cheer each other on and interact with one another.
Dr. Tera is a homeschool mom of two young girls, who love pretend play. In their play-food kitchen her and her children create lot of memories and fun food creations.
Play food, a play kitchen or play cooking location, play cooking supplies (pots/pans, utensils etc), two large spoons (from a real kitchen, can be metal plastic or wooden), and a parent or guardian.
Each student receives an award at the end of the class (certificate).
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
There is some mild physical activity involved. Parents should observe the class to ensure their child is safely performing the challenges. Make sure the space around the cooking area is clear of hazards. Parents may be asked to guide or assist the students during some of the challenges.
