- How is your class structured?

Each 30-minute class is designed to maximize learning and fun through hands-on cooking. We begin with a brief, interactive warm-up in Spanish. Then, we introduce the featured country and recipe. The core of the class focuses on learning key Spanish vocabulary and phrases within the context of the recipe. We then move into a cooking demonstration and hands-on participation, where students actively prepare the dish. We wrap up with a review and encourage students to try the recipe at home (with adult supervision if needed) and share their creations in our future online cooking chat.

- How will you teach? / What's your teaching style?

Our teaching style is interactive, engaging, and hands-on, emphasizing learning by doing. We use:

Visual aids: Photos and realia bring the language and culture to life.
Cooking demonstrations: Step-by-step demonstrations make the recipes easy to follow.
Hands-on participation: Students actively participate in preparing the dish, reinforcing vocabulary and building confidence.
Cultural discussions: We briefly discuss the featured country's food traditions.
We create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. We emphasize practical application of the language within the cooking context.

- How much will learners get to interact with you?

Interaction is key! While there's no formal "lecture" or games, the class is highly interactive:

Hands-on Cooking: This is the primary interaction, with students actively involved in the cooking process, guided by the instructor.
Guided Discussion: We encourage questions and brief discussions about the food and culture.
Q&A: Students are welcome to ask questions throughout the class.

The focus is on learning Spanish through the shared experience of cooking and the future online chat will extend this interaction beyond the class.
