Class experience
In this 4-week flexible schedule class, students will be provided with instructional videos to make four different dessert cookie recipes: Peanut Butter Blossoms, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Monster Cookies, and Snickerdoodles. Students will improve their skills as chefs in the kitchen by practicing making cookies.
I have been cooking and baking with my mom since I was a young girl. My mom, a professional baker, has inspired me to be creative in the kitchen. I now share my love of cooking and baking with my own children (and my family and friends). I am excited to share my love of cooking and baking with other young home chefs as well.
Homework Offered
Students will be expected to follow the recipe to make a different cookie recipe each week. The students are encouraged to post a picture or video in the classroom to share their cookies with the teacher and other students.Assessments Offered

The students will make four different recipes by following the instructional videos. Each week, the students will be given a list of the ingredients and tools that they will need in order to make the recipe of the week. Students will also receive a shopping list for all 4 weeks before the first class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents, please be advised of the following potential hazards: use of oven/stove and the risk of allergens. Parental guidance is encouraged.
