Students will improve their skills as chefs in the kitchen by practicing making desserts.
I have been cooking and baking with my mom since I was a young girl. My mom, a professional baker, has inspired me to be creative in the kitchen. I now share my love of cooking and baking with my own children (and my family and friends). I am excited to share my love of cooking and baking with other young home chefs as well.
Students will be expected to follow the recipe to make a different dessert each week. The students will be encouraged to post a picture or video in the classroom to share their desserts with the teacher and other students.
The students will make four different videos. Each week, the students will be given a list of the ingredients and tools that they will need in order to make the recipe of the week. Students will also receive a shopping list for all 4 weeks before the first class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
