Students will improve their skills as chefs in the kitchen by practicing making dinner recipes.
I have been cooking and baking with my mom since I was a young girl. My mom, a professional baker, has inspired me to be creative in the kitchen. I now share my love of cooking and baking with my own children (and my family and friends). I am excited to share my love of cooking and baking with other young home chefs as well.
Students will be expected to follow the recipe to make a different recipe each week. The students are also encouraged to post a picture in the classroom to share their desserts with the teacher and other students.
The students will make four different recipes by following the instructional videos. Each week, the students will be given a list of the ingredients and tools that they will need in order to make the recipe of the week. Students will also receive a shopping list for all 4 weeks before the first class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will share their finished recipes with the teacher/class (and their own families).
No live meetings, and no time outside of class.
Parents, please be advised of the following potential hazards: use of oven/stove and the risk of allergens. Parental guidance is encouraged.
