In this self-paced course, students will have fun making four different dinner recipes: Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Fajitas, BBQ Chicken sandwiches, and Chicken Parmesan. Let’s have fun making dinner for your family!

Lesson 1
Chicken Fried Rice
The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make Chicken fried Rice to share with friends and family.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Chicken Fajitas
The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make Chicken Fajitas to share with friends and family.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make BBQ Chicken Sandwiches to share with friends and family.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Chicken Parmesan
The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make Chicken Parmesan to share with friends and family.
Students will improve their skills as chefs in the kitchen by practicing making dinner recipes.
I have been cooking and baking with my mom since I was a young girl.  My mom, a professional baker, has inspired me to be creative in the kitchen.  I now share my love of cooking and baking with my own children (and my family and friends).  I am excited to share my love of cooking and baking with other young home chefs as well.  
Homework Offered
Students will be encouraged to follow the recipe to make a different recipe each week. The students will also be encouraged to post a picture or video in the classroom to share their recipes with the teacher.

The students will make four different recipes by following the instructional videos.  For each lesson, the students will be given a list of the ingredients and tools that they will need in order to make the recipe.  Students will also receive a shopping list for all 4 recipes at the beginning of the course.  

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents, please be advised of the following potential hazards: use of oven/stove and the risk of allergens.  Parental guidance is encouraged.
