Homework
1 hour per week. Students will be expected to follow the recipe to make a different quick bread each week. The students will also be encouraged to post a picture or video in the classroom to share their pies with the teacher and other students. Students will interact with each other and the teacher each week.

Class Experience

In this class, students will be provided with instructional videos to make four different quick bread recipes: Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Chocolate Banana, and Snickerdoodle Apple Bread.  The students will make the recipes with the teacher's instructions (in the videos).  The students will also be encouraged to post a picture or video to share their desserts with the teacher.   *No previous experience is required.  

The students will:
-practice following a recipe
-practice using kitchen tools to measure ingredients
-practice cooking in an oven (*Parental supervision is strongly encouraged.)
-confidently share their completed recipes with the teacher (and their families).

over 4 Weeks
Lesson 1:
Pumpkin Bread
 The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make Pumpkin Bread to share with friends and family. 
Lesson 2:
Cinnamon Swirl Bread
 The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make Cinnamon Swirl Bread to share with friends and family. 
Lesson 3:
Chocolate Banana Bread
 The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make Chocolate Banana Bread to share with friends and family. 
Lesson 4:
Snickerdoodle Apple Bread
 The student will learn the tools, ingredients, and recipe required to make Snickerdoodle Apple Bread to share with friends and family.

Parents, please be advised of the following potential hazards: use of oven and the risk of allergens. Parental guidance is encouraged.
Supply List
The students will make four different recipes by following the instructional videos.  Each week, the students will be given a list of the ingredients and tools that they will need in order to make the recipe of the week.  Students will also receive a shopping list for all 4 weeks before the first class.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
