Class experience
In this self-paced course, students will be provided with instructional videos to make four different dessert cookie recipes: Peanut Butter Blossoms, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Monster Cookies, and Snickerdoodles. The students will make the recipes with the teacher's instructions (in the videos). Students will improve their skills as chefs in the kitchen by practicing making cookies.
I have been cooking and baking with my mom since I was a young girl. My mom, a professional baker, has inspired me to be creative in the kitchen. I now share my love of cooking and baking with my own children (and my family and friends). I am excited to share my love of cooking and baking with other young home chefs as well.

Students will follow the recipe to make a different cookie recipe for each lesson.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

The students will make four different recipes by following the instructional videos. The students will be given a list of the ingredients and tools that they will need in order to make the recipe for each lesson. Students will also receive a shopping list for all 4 weeks at the beginning of the course.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents, please be advised of the following potential hazards: use of oven/stove and the risk of allergens. Parental guidance is encouraged.
