Let's spark creativity in the kitchen! Over 4 weeks, students will have fun making Halloween treats. Students will share their treat (and their recipe) with the teacher and other students. It's like a show and tell for young chefs!
Class experience
In this 4 week flexible schedule (flex) class, young chefs will make and share Halloween themed recipes with the group. The purpose of this class is to allow students to practice their skills in the kitchen and showcase their recipes. Each week, the students will make a recipe that follows a specific theme (see list below). The students will show their creations and share their recipes with the class. I have been cooking and baking with my mom since I was a young girl. My mom, a professional baker, has inspired me to be creative in the kitchen. I now share my love of cooking and baking with my own children (and my family and friends). I am excited to share my love of cooking and baking with other young home chefs as well.
Homework Offered
Each week students will make a Halloween themed recipe outside of class time. Suggestions will be provided to the students; however, students can be as creative as they'd like.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

The students will make their recipes each week. They are choosing their own recipes. They will need the tools and ingredients required for the recipes they choose.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be making recipes. Parents, please be advised of potential hazards: use of a stove/oven and risk of allergens. Parental guidance is advised.
