In this class, learners will prepare brigadeiros from scratch. This is a no-bake traditional dessert and a staple for festive occasions in Brazil. To make this delicious treat, students will need only four simple ingredients for the class. No prior knowledge needed but students should be comfortable using the stove. I will be demonstrating its preparation in class while students follow along and prepare theirs as well. Learners will have opportunities to ask questions and share what they have done. We will learn some facts about the candy as we go along the way. See you in class!
Learning Goals
At the end of the class, students will be able to combine simple ingredients to make Brazilian brigadeiro to enjoy with family and friends.
