Cookies are always a good idea! In this 6 week baking flex course, your learner will follow along with Ms. Katie as we bake 6 delicious cookie recipes. Because this is a FLEX course, there are no live meetings. All lessons are pre-recorded, by me, in my own kitchen. This is the perfect setting for learning to bake, as the learner can pause, skip back, and skip ahead in the video as necessary. Students will increase their confidence and skills in baking, while adding 6 delicious recipes to their repertoire.
Good food is a long tradition in my family. I've had the privilege of being surrounded by great cooks and delicious food, and it's time now to share that tradition.
Homework Offered
Our homework is to gather our ingredients, watch the videos, complete the recipes, and EAT THE COOKIES!!0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

1 file available upon enrollmentOnce a week for 6 weeks, I will upload items into our online classroom: 1) Our recipe, 2) A recipe preview video that showcases our ingredients, 3) The full-length baking video.
Parental guidance is highly recommended as students will be using various kitchen tools and appliances. Please note: The recipes included in this course are not suitable for those with special dietary needs as they contain peanut butter, dairy, gluten, and other possible allergens. When reasonable, ingredient substitutions can be discussed to make these recipes more accommodating.
