This flexible schedule class allows students to follow along with pre-recorded videos teaching how to bake cookies. The flexible schedule class is a great format for baking because it allows students to follow along and pause as needed. We will use a different cookie recipe each week for four weeks. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Parent supervision is required. Please be aware that we will be using kitchen appliances including an oven and either a stand mixer (kitchenaid) or a hand mixer (egg beater). Please also check the ingredients list as there are some potential allergens, including: gluten, eggs, butter and milk. Non-dairy substitutes such as margarine, oil, almond milk, soy milk, etc. can also be used.
