In this one time, online, interactive cooking class, students will bake Oreo stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Class Experience

Can't decide if you want an Oreo or a Chocolate Chip Cookie?  Let your taste buds go wild and enjoy them together!

This is a hands on cooking class so get ready to get messy as we will be working with our hands! The class is structured to be very step-by-step, extremely interactive and geared for hands on learners.  

During this class, you will learn how to make chocolate chip cookie batter, and then how to create a stuffed cookie.

No experience necessary however students may need help...

Students will learn proper measuring techniques, learn terminology used in baking and will enhance their baking techniques.

I have been baking all of my life! I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts.  I also teach Food and Nutrition in an Ontario High School and have taught many young people how to bake this recipe successfully.  I love to share my joy of baking with students and to see their confidence in the kitchen improve.

No homework unless they want to make them again!
Students will have to clean up and wash their dishes after class.

24 hours before class begins I will upload the recipe.  
Here are the ingredients you need:
softened unsalted butter
brown sugar
white sugar
eggs
vanilla extract
flour
salt
soda
chocolate chips
1 package of Oreo cookies (any flavor is good! double stuffed works too!)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Students will receive anecdotal feedback during the class.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

This recipe has gluten and dairy in it.
