Meal prep is where it's at! Ever hungry, but there's nothing to eat? Let's fix that! In this self-paced class, we'll learn to prepare 4 sets of freezer meals (a total of 8 recipes) that you can have on hand for "hungermergencies" (Ever have those?) We'll gather, prepare, and combine our ingredients, so when hunger strikes, you'll have a fresh meal to pull out of the freezer and pop in the oven. "How much food will I be cooking?" The learner will gain confidence with all the steps of meal planning. This includes deciding what groceries they need to purchase, checking off a grocery list, preparing the ingredients, and possibly doubling recipes.
Good food is a long tradition in my family. I've had the privilege of being surrounded by great cooks and delicious food, and it's time now to share that tradition.
Homework Offered
Learners will be required to: 1) Look through their pantry to see what food they already have that's on the list. 2) Be involved with the shopping and checking items off their grocery list. 3) Using their recipe to follow along with the video as we prepare the food together.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Students will be provided with a recipe and a shopping list. For easy access, it is best if they can print these out for reference.
Parental guidance is highly recommended as learners will be preparing their food using various kitchen tools including (but not limited to) knives, the oven, the stove top, etc.
