Learners will continue to practice beginning conversational Spanish with vocabulary, routine activities, and questions based on learners' interests. I will have my peluche! Class Experience
I am an experienced educator who has taught at nearly every level of instruction from pre-k to college level. My very first job out of high school was as a bilingual instructional aide for the Head Start program in my city. I currently teach undergraduate students who are preparing to become K-12 teachers. I am a student-centered educator who listens and aims to allow students to feel heard and seen in the classroom. I want all of my students to feel empowered and engaged in every lesson. I believe that students bring important and valuable contributions to the classroom. I aim to empower learner voices in a way that they become confident critical thinkers who can pose questions and engage with their peers in a collaborative learning process. I treat my students with care, kindness and listen with attention because I value the student-teacher, teacher-student relationship.
Learners can bring their plushie friends to class if they would like. I will also send worksheets as extra support for student depending on student need.
