This ongoing course for beginners will focus on a new topic every week. Each topic will be simple enough that students will not need to have completed the class the week before in order to participate in the conversation. Students can take this class to get real-life practice with what they are learning in other Spanish classes or as a way to keep up with the Spanish they already know. There will be 2 meetings each 30 minutes per week. Each meeting will contain one or all of the following: -Learn the vocabulary needed for the week -Practice using the vocabulary in sentences by asking and answering questions with teacher support -A game or activity to practice and share with the class the things we've learned throughout the week.
Learning Goals
The goals will be to listen, truly hear the sounds of Spanish, begin having a 'Spanish mouth', read, sing, and learn many vocabulary words, answer questions and learn to understand spoken Spanish and respond to it.
