Class Experience

Students will learn common verbs relating to hobbies and abilities along with common people terms in Mandarin. Classes will consist of reviewing vocabulary and participating in games and activities such as matching games to implement and practice phrases between student-student and student-teacher. Teaching style includes brief explanations, learn through play, visuals, question/answer drills and repetition activities. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Youtube

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Youtube video links will be provided in this class for students to use to review vocabulary and phrases and practice pronunciation. Students are not required to create an account with Youtube and only need to click on the links provided and view the assigned videos.
