What's included
1 live meeting
55 mins in-class hours per weekHomework
1-2 hours per week. Occasionally, learners will be asked to view a French film or visit a website to be prepared for the next weeks’ meeting.Class Experience
This class is for high schoolers who want to practice their conversational French skills. I suggest learners should have at least 2 years’ of high-school level French to be able to stay active in the conversations which will take place in French. Occasionally I will provide an English equivalent in the chat, or better yet, explain a word students don’t know with a French synonym. We will discuss topics such as French cinema, current events in Francophone countries, the French school system, studying during college in Francophone countries, French cuisine, famous athletes & sporting events, and much more.
Learning Goals
Students will gain more confidence speaking French. The teacher will aide them in any pronunciation difficulties they may have or ways of making oneself understood in a Francophone country WITHOUT reverting to English.
