This is an ongoing or club style course that will meet once weekly to practice conversations in English and improve English fluency. This level 2, or intermediary-level, conversational English course will focus on a different topic each week, so you can subscribe to this course at any time! I’ve provided the topic schedule and a list of recommended vocabulary (below) with “free talk” weeks between topics. This course is also available as a beginner (level 1) and advanced (level 3)...
Learners should gain confidence in speaking and having actual conversations in English, and they should show improvements in their application of vocabulary, grammar concepts, and sentence structure. They will learn to transform all of the English words and concepts they’ve learned from lists and fill-in-the blank exercises into actual, fluent communication.
Teacher Erin is a certified ESL teacher who has taught English online for VIPKid for about 3 years. She’s certified to teach preschool age all the way up through VIPKid’s upper-level classes where she teaches high school age students.
Learners should be familiar with the vocabulary words for the week's topic, or, if it’s a free talk week, they should have a topic, story, or thing they want to share with the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Learning should always be at least enjoyable...preferably FUN!
