Conversational English for ESL / EFL 1:2 Family Tutoring
What's included
50 live meetings
50 in-class hoursClass Experience
If the currently listed section times do not suit you, please contact me to arrange a more suitable time, pending availability. This arrangement is ideal for: - Siblings who live together; - Siblings who live apart; - Friends and best friends! - Cousins who don't get to see each other as often as they would like to; - Any other combination that you can think of where two children want to learn together without the distraction and disruption of having people they don't know in their class. If you have more than 2 children that you would like a private class for, please contact me (Pamela) to arrange this - it's easier than you [probably] think! Please note that if the ages of your children are outside the age range of 5 years and/or the range listed here, that is not an issue, as this is essentially treated as a "double 1:1 class" where the age range has to be put into the class description as it is listed as having 2 children and the system would not accept this class without a set age range due to this. The content being taught each week will be learner-driven. You may wish to utilise this class set-up for 2 x 1:1 30-minute sessions without having to login separately, as this is also an option. Whether you are preparing for an ESL/EFL exam, or just practicing your English Language skills, this class can accommodate you. This class is also suitable for native English speakers who also need tutoring in reading, writing and language skills. You choose which skill/s you/your learner needs to work on and let the teacher know. Please also advise the level you are working at, i.e. beginner, intermediate or advanced, so that the teacher can adjust your curriculum accordingly. I prefer to use whiteboards and flash cards, however if the topic requires them I will use slides. I prefer to be the "big" picture on camera so that the shape my mouth makes when pronouncing words and sounds is the focus with the written word equally on the screen rather than taking over the whole screen.
Learning Goals
This class is bespoke to each learner who takes it.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Slides will be screen-shared during class.
Supply List
Learners may want something to write with and write on, as I encourage them to make a note of any words that they learn during our sessions that are new to them, so that they can incorporate them into their own English vocabulary.
