Class experience
Students do not need any experience or knowledge prior to this class. My teaching style for this course will be teaching basic phrases and vocabulary through images and repetition. Then students will get a chance to speak and respond to questions in Spanish so we can build friendships in the class through the language learned. I have three years of experience living in Guatemala, a Spanish speaking country in Central America. I speak Spanish daily to native Spanish speakers, and am married to a native Spanish speaker. We are raising our son to be bilingual.
Homework Offered
If you would like homework for your learner to keep them accountable please let me know. I will be happy to assign outside activities. I do not make it a required part of the course so that there is no pressure for busy families!0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

I often show short clips of songs from Youtube videos that are directly correlated to the material we learn in class. I provide each enrolled learner with access to a Google classroom which includes songs, flashcards, and other materials in order to practice and have fun outside of class.
