In this 10-week course, we will put into practice the  ASL concepts you've learned in our first two trimesters and focus on using our new language skills in a practical sense.   Each week will involve a review of learned vocabulary, and then a guided discussion of the week's theme with our voices off.  

This class will continue to develop ASL grammar and concepts we use often.

Our final project will consist of a 3-minute presentation on a topic of your choice.

Week 1: Review of proper ASL Parameters, Grammar, Concepts and Classifiers

Week 2: REVIEW: Speaking about Ourselves, Talking about Learning ASL + Free signing

Week 3: REVIEW: Food and Cook, Health and Wellness + Free signing

Week 4: REVIEW: Politeness and Directions, Travel and Transportation + Free Signing

Week 5: REVIEW: Physical Appearance,  Identifying Objects + Free Signing 

Week 6: Mid-course Review and Practice

Week 7: REVIEW: School and Education, Work and Employment

Week 8: REVIEW: Housing and Homelife, Family and Relationships + Free Signing

Week 9: REVIEW: Weather, Entertainment and Leisure Activities + Free Signing

Week 10: Project Presentations

My main goal is to have fun because what we learn with pleasure we never forget.   There will be homework involved, looking up words, translating sentences, and of course, practice, practice, practice.
