Welcome to my ongoing crochet beginners class! I'm so happy you're here! In this ongoing class students will learn and practice new stitches and skills every week. We will make make fun and easy projects that they can easily repeat after class. They will build on their skills, practice what they already know and learn new stitches and techniques each week. Students will be able to practice their crochet skills, learn new concepts and challenge themselves to extend their abilities and diligence in creating completed projects.
Homework Offered
Some projects will be completed after class. Students are highly encouraged to practice regularly outside of class time.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Learners need to have very basic crochet skills to succeed in this class. I have 2 one-time classes available to teach them all they need to know to get started.
Basic materials needed: 1-2 skeins or more of medium weight acrylic yarn in a light color if possible (lighter colors are clearer on camera) A crochet hook (about a 5mm to 6mm or a size suitable for the yarn) A darning needle Scissors Stitch markers Stuffing They may also need safety eyes (optional) Handouts with the patterns and materials will also be available to view and/or print.
Scissor will be used in class. Supervision will be left to the discretion of the parents. Also, if safety eyes are not used on the amigurumi projects, please keep in mind that some items used for the eyes can be a choking hazard for small children.
