Do you need to learn Algebra 2 but hate Algebra? Or maybe Algebra 1 was easy and you are ready for a challenge? If either of those describe you, then this is YOUR class! In this 8-week class, we will complete the first quarter of Algebra 2, meeting twice weekly and following a flipped-classroom format. In a flipped classroom format, students watch a video that I created previewing the day's lesson, and while watching the video they fill out the lesson notes BEFORE class - the easy part of...
This class is taught in English.
Students will cover the first 3 units of Algebra 2, learning about equations and inequalities, linear functions, and parent functions.
Students will need the ability to print PDF's in order to print and complete each lesson's notes. Students also need a 3-ring binder to keep notes and other papers organized and accessible for class. In their 3-ring binder, students will need to keep some blank, lined, or graph paper for use during live classes. Students will also need access to a graphing calculator. If they do not have a physical graphing calculator, there is an app that will work that you can purchase for $4.99.

This class uses a standard Algebra 2 scope and sequence, and students will be provided the handouts for each lesson. These handouts are not to be shared with anyone or used for anything outside of class. Students will have access to a Google Doc that contains all the notes and videos needed, and they may use other websites such as Blooket during class.
