Description

Class Experience

Students will have a good understanding of the practices of compassion and self compassion.  They will learn how becoming more compassionate to others and to themselves will support them in navigating the stresses of everyday life.  Students will learn some practical tips and tools for practicing self compassion.
I believe Self Compassion is one of the most powerful and least utilized tools available for positive mental health, for people of all ages.  I have been teaching the practice Self Compassion for many years and embrace it as foundational in my clinical practice.  Outschool is a great opportunity to teach this easy to learn and powerful practice. 

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
