In this interesting class, learners will learn the science behind how conjoined twins happen. Your child will learn how often this phenomenon occurs, as they enjoy a slide/show lecture based class. Each child will be encouraged to ask questions and participate. No prior knowledge is needed. Learners will learn about the lives and challenges, as well as hear success stories of separation. I have studied conjoined twins extensively in college anatomy & physiology courses, as well as created and taught this as a science subject to middle school kids at our public school for years. I have always been fascinated by this phenomenon and have done extensive research on it.
We will talk about separation and when separation is not possible. No graphic surgical pictures will shown. This class is for educational purposes on how conjoined twins happen and the class is held to a high level of respect.
