Description
Class Experience
Even children at an early age can appreciate being able to learn how to get along better with their peers and adults. It gives them a sense of comfort to have some skills they can use to make their lives easier. This program is easy to implement on a daily basis at home and in the classroom.
As a school counselor for more than 15 years, I have taught this lesson to children of all ages. It is always so satisfying to hear from teachers and parents how this course has helped to bring peace and focus into the home and classroom. When practiced on a daily basis, children gain pride in their ability to resolve problems and get along better with their peers and adults.
There is no homework in this class. There will be handouts that they can complete at home if they would like. The handouts are to help them solidify what they learned in class that week.
Worksheets and the Kelso's Choice Wheel will be provided. Students will receive a Superstar certificate upon completion of this series.
