Hi everyone! My name is Madison Hickman, and I’m so excited about the opportunity to teach and inspire your students. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, and I have 10 years of experience working with general education and special education students in both brick-and-mortar and virtual learning environments for grades K-12.
I’m passionate about creating engaging and supportive spaces for students to grow, explore, and thrive. My teaching interests include reading (especially book clubs), math enrichment, creative writing, life skills, and social skills—but what truly drives me is helping students discover their strengths and seeing them take pride in their achievements.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, baking, hiking with my dogs Scout and Remi, playing piano, singing, song writing and spending time with family and friends. I can’t wait to bring my enthusiasm, expertise, and creativity to your learner’s journey on Outschool. See you in the classroom!
