Confidence Building 1:1 Math Tutoring 2nd Grade
This on going class will help your child in 2nd grade gain confidence in 2nd grade math skills. Addition, subtraction, place value will be the focus of the fall semester. The teacher will cater to the needs of the learner in this 1:1 class.

US Grade 2
Teaching Style: -Props and visual aides are used to connect for visual learners. -“I do. We do. You do.” is the model of my lessons. Learner Reading Requirements: -Learners should know the majority of their basic math facts without using their fingers. Weekly Schedule: -Consideration of student’s biggest needs may guide our materials. -We will have a roundtable of topics covered for the first 10 minutes, and then 20 minutes focused in on practicing one skill (counting mixed coins, reading the clock, three digit addition ect. ). Teaching Style: -I am patient with struggling learners. -I correct gently.
