Class Experience
Each week students will learn a tool and/or a fact that will help them increase their self-confidence and self-esteem. I will present visuals in a slide show and we will practice different techniques such as journaling, drawing, repeating affirmations, visualizing and more. Week of 3/25 Students will learn the power of words and thoughts. We will practice transforming self-talk. 4/8 Students will learn about pathways (habits) in their brains and how they can strengthen them and make improvements. 4/15 Students will learn how imagining/visualizing and creating positive affirmations can be valuable tools when working towards a goal. 4/22 Students will learn how to honor their unique attributes and feel confident in being different. And they will learn how to create self-love practices and form positive habits for their well-being. 4/29 Students will practice using a growth mindset and we will role-play different scenarios of positive thinking.
